Scott and Carrie Douglass

Scott is currently serving on active duty in the US Navy and was recently selected for promotion to Lieutenant Commander (LCDR).  Scott is assigned to Navy Recruiting District San Francisco where he is the Nuclear & Civil Engineer Programs Coordinator for Northern California, in addition to leading 5 Navy enlisted recruiting stations in the Bay Area.  Scott was the #3 Nuclear Engineering officer recruiter in the nation in 2011. 

Scott has a Bachelors of Science in Intermodal Logistics and Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, NY and is a proud graduate of Mountain View High School! 

When Carrie isn't working on the Cascade Lakes Relay she is the Senior Director of Strategy and Innovation at the Rogers Family Foundation, where she has the privilege of investing funding and capacity in promising education reforms in Oakland, CA.

Carrie has a Masters of Business Administration from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Portland, OR. She is a proud graduate of Bend Senior High School! 

Carrie and Scott met in 6th Grade at St. Francis Youth Group and were married one week before the inaugural CLR in 2008!  We have a 1-year-old puppy named Sierra who loves to run with us. Our friends think we're crazy for producing the Cascade Lakes Relay as an extra hobby on top of our full-time jobs, but we LOVE talking with our participants throughout the year and seeing you each summer along the course! Thank you for bringing us so much joy - your energy and enthusiasm keeps us going throughout the year on this crazy venture!
