The Cascade Relays Foundation supports local non-profits, school groups, and community organizations in the communities our events travel through.  Cascade Relays has directly donated a total of $235,000 to local nonprofits and community groups since its founding in 2008.

  • CANcancer
  • East Cascades Back Country Horsemen of Oregon
  • Hawk Hoops Sports
  • La Pine High School NJROTC
  • La Pine Lions Club
  • La Pine Park and Recreation Foundation
  • Gilchrist High School Athletics
  • La Pine Senior Citizens Inc
  • La Pine YaYa Sisterhood
  • North Lake High School Athletics
  • North Lake Stage Rats
  • North Lake Rodeo Association
  • Pleasant Ridge Community Hall Assoc.
  • Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Oregon
  • Veterans Group (VFW/VVA)

We are always on the lookout for additional opportunities to serve local charities. If you have a proposal for a fundraising opportunity for your group, or if you would like to participate in the 2017 Cascade Lakes Relay as a Hire-A-Volunteer group, please complete the Official 2017 Charity Application.

La Pine Yaya Sisterhood
Once again, the La Pine YaYa Sisterhood wants to thank you all for giving us the opportunity to volunteer to raise funds for our high school scholarship fund.  We are enormously grateful to have this chance to spend one day volunteering to raise enough money to send at least one female graduate onto a new beginning as a college student.  Our Mission Statement is “We are a group of diverse women who come together for Friendship, Giving to the community and Self-growth.”

La Pine Lions Club – http://lapinelionsor.lionwap.org/
The mission of the La Pine Lions Club  is “To Serve Those Less Fortunate Than Ourselves.”  We enjoy helping make the CLR Event a success for all involved and really enjoy meeting and assisting the teams competing – they are super folks with great attitudes.

The primary focus for the funds raised is on sight and hearing – providing exams, glasses and hearing aids to those in need.

La Pine Senior Center – lapineseniorcenter.org
Our purpose is to serve and enhance the lives of the Senior Population in the greater LaPine area by providing information and referrals to the appropriate City, County, and State or Federal agencies and to provide the LaPine community with activities in a friendly, clean and safe environment.  We add to the community’s quality of life by encouraging healthy living through educational programs and to promote independent living.

We appreciate the opportunity to help with the Cascade Lakes Relay.  We enjoy helping with what is needed and talking to the people who participate in the race.  They are a great group of people.  Everyone came to me afterwards and said sign me up for next year.  We use the money to pay our bills.  It costs a lot to keep our building open so we can provide the lunch program, activities, and educational programs that we do!
